2 weeks update, painting week

It's been a while since we posted an update. This was partly due to the house being officially locked up, they have finally replaced the temporary front door with the actual door, so we can't get in without anyone working in it now.  Also, there are not a lot of work done these day, we have to go there coincide with workers working in the house at the same time to take any picture or know what had been done!

Before painting the house, they covered up windows and cabinets.

Interestingly, the painting of the ceiling was done by spraying the paint (2 coats) and 1 coat on the wall.  Then brush painting or roller painting was done on the wall and architraves for the 2nd & 3rd coats.

As we checked out the front door, we were told by the painters that the door will be painted 2 colours, the internal side white colour and external side our chosen colour, Deep Indian Red. Hang on a minute! Why would you have 2 colours for a door? A door is a door, we selected a colour and we would assumed that it would be painted same colour inside and out. Anyway this is an issue we raised with the SS, he initially thought it was normal to have 2 colours but after hearing our comment, he agreed to have the painters paint it our colour inside and out.

I'll be looking out for it to be done properly.
