Upstairs Windows & Sliding Door Fixed

Combining yesterday and today's post in one. Work is progressing at a good pace, so far quality has been good, I won't say fantastic. I can spot few places where the mortar width is slightly smaller or wider at places, may be it's within the tolerances?

The house is looking good for now. It does look a bit "dirty" so hopefully will look brighter after their acid wash.

The upstairs windows have also been installed. Framing guys must have been onsite early.

Looking from rear, windows to Master Ensuite & Master Bedroom

Window to His/Hers room above alfresco

Bedroom 2, next to Master Bedroom, has the only window with spotswood glazing to stop us looking onto our neighbours. Not that I wanted it, but regulation said so.......

As I continued walking inside, I was surprised and glad to see that they have replaced the sliding door with the correct opening. Thumbs up PD and our SS for getting this actioned quickly.

Sliding door now open right to left

Outside the alfreso, brick work has been done around the metal post.

  1. Garage door openers, like any other mechanical devices require periodical maintenance, adjustment, and testing to ensure that everything is operating properly.

  2. Congratulations on the progress you have on your house, guys! The doors, windows and walls look great together. I can't wait until everything is finished. I see you preferred to have a sliding door instead of the conventional one. It's actually a good choice since sliding doors allow the homeowner to maximize space.
